How to use Support Groups: verification desk

  1. Sign in at Directorate sign-in with your email, password and authenticator code.
  2. Open Verification. Press Start call on a member, so nobody else calls them at the same time.
  3. Ask the member to read out their name, voter card number, NIN and polling unit. Never read a NIN out first.
  4. Record the outcome. Three unanswered attempts count as a failed call-back.
  5. Check the voter card on INEC's public voter-verification service, then record PVC found or Not found. This is a manual check.
  6. Follow the call script shown when you start a call. Record Confirmed only after the member re-confirms consent (step 6) and tick the box.
